2024 Spring Poster | Penn State Football

The creative direction for this project was simple: “Throwback.” Drawing inspiration from analog poster design, I chose to create an entirely handmade piece — starting with a rough layout in Illustrator, then physically cutting out each element with an X-Acto knife to build the first original version by hand.
I scanned the final collage and refined it digitally, creating a printable version that was distributed exclusively to the first 100 fans at the 2024 Blue-White Spring Game. A separate digital version was later developed for wider use until our fall poster was released.
The piece was well received across the athletic department and ultimately repurposed as the design for our season magnet, extending its impact and reach beyond the initial print run.
