2025 NFL Gear Box | Penn State Football
Role: Graphic Designer Lead, Secondary Designer: Corey Abel
The NFL Gear Box is always one of my favorite projects — a more relaxed design opportunity with room for personal touches and storytelling. This year, my goal was to create a design that celebrated both the state of Pennsylvania and the Penn State Football program.
One of my favorite elements was the block "S" surrounded by all 32 NFL team logos. I placed it on the inside of the box, visualizing each player opening it and being met with a subtle but powerful detail that connects their journey from college to the league.
The final design was well received by our equipment staff, who shared that it was “one of the best boxes they've had in a while.”
I also chose to allow our intern to work on some of the parts of the box as well as I felt it was a good project for him to help with during the summer.
