NFL Draft 2025 Suite | Penn State Football
Role: Graphic Designer
This campaign was designed to spotlight Penn State’s NFL Draft prospects through a cohesive visual identity inspired by the official 2025 NFL Draft, hosted in Green Bay. I leaned into Green Bay’s blue-collar character, which naturally aligned with Penn State’s own hardworking, no-frills brand ethos.
The suite featured a “Pick Is In” graphic, a custom jersey swap, and a quote graphic — each intentionally focused on the individual athlete and the team that drafted them. The goal was to visually unify their journey from Penn State to the pros while honoring the identity of their next chapter.
Stragety
To ensure the three-day draft process ran smoothly, I created individual files for each NFL organization and prepped all player cutouts in advance. This allowed for quick, efficient edits — once a player was selected, only the name, round, pick number, and team needed to be updated. For prospects expected to go early, I exported full graphics for all 32 teams and preloaded jersey swaps for the top five teams likely to draft our highest-rated player.
NFL Draft Production Day | Penn State Football
Role: Graphic Designer & Photographer
In preparation for the 2025 NFL Draft, we held a dedicated production day ahead of Pro Day to capture versatile content for use across draft-related graphics. I shot a combination of standard portraits and isolated poses specifically intended for cutout applications.
These cutouts became the foundation for a series of quote graphics shared by position coaches once their players were drafted. The creative approach was a first for our program and quickly became a staff favorite for its versatility and impact, offering a new, elevated way to celebrate our athletes on one of the biggest days of their careers.
Jersey Swaps | Penn State Football
Role: Graphic Designer
The jersey swap graphics were a collaborative effort between me and another designer, with my primary responsibility being the creation of the graphic template used across the series. While jersey swaps are typically built using action shots in realistic environments, this year we took a different direction — using posed portraits captured during our preseason team production day to create a more stylized and consistent look.
I drew inspiration from the NFL’s 2025 Draft team clusters and saw a unique opportunity to integrate those design elements into our graphics. The result was a clean, modern visual that highlighted each athlete’s transition to the pros while keeping the team identity front and center.
