Announcing the 2024 signing class was a six-month process from the moment I joined the Penn State Football Creative team. The process started in mid-July when we decided to build the initial set, knowing the theme was "The Next Generation of Greatness". My role was to help style and photograph the set as we got committs came to visit. I started the design process of the logo in early November. I completed the graphics package with guidance from the Director of Recruiting Content, Caleb Tyler, and our other Designer, Zach Osborne.
THE SET
The Generations of Greatness recruiting set was utilized three times. The original backdrop was built in the stadium but the backdrop used on our second production day and during signing day was hand built by me and a recruiting intern. The set was largely styled and lit by Me, and my colleagues James Biddlespach.

SOCIAL GRAPHICS
Tasked with creating the graphic content for social I drew inspiration from 90's sitcoms and old yearbook style graphic elements. I went as far as diving into my old yearbooks and picking things out such as shapes and icons to include. Another idea I got from the yearbook was the thought of hand written letters from the recruits to scan into the full graphic. On instagram the graphic lived as a carousel with a place to drop in highlight videos and on twitter it lived as a three part post.
I created the design, the template and chose the fonts.
